This is the kitchen in my house now during FBT.

This is the pila where we wash the clothes and some people use it to wash dishes as well. Those are my jeans...

This is my host dad randomly took this photo...I´m going to get more official pics of my families later.

This is the living room...the house is actually a nice size.

This is me at the pila hard at work for two hours each Saturday washing my clothes. I don´t mind though cause I just put on my MP3 player and sing. :)

This is the cross at the top of the hill that we climbed to get to the cave!

This is me on the hill after we left the cave! :) A beautiful view.

This is the group that traveled to the cave! That´s not all of us...there are 57 of us in all and 19 in Youth Development (my project). There are three projects in all!

Hope you enjoy the photos!

  1. I love the pics and of course, the one of you is my favorite. The cave sounds like it was fun, are ya'll gonna do that again? The home you are staying in looks nice too. I am sorry to hear about their education problem there, hopefully you will be able to change someones life and help them. That's what it's all about honey. The clothes washing looks crazy. But, you seem to be doing well. Just remember all those snacks are probably cheap, but they are added up. You know what I am talking about. I LOVE YOU!!! Glad to see you are doing well.....Hugs and Kisses, Mom

  2. Hi, Victoria,
Thanks for the pics and the update! The house looks very nice, and washing clothes by hand is a real joy - right? From what you say about the school system you have your work cut out for you. I know EXACTLY how you feel about roaches! I have always said - give me a snake anytime. Do you have Raid in cans over there?? LOL Take care - Granny also sends her love & prayers - and I am praying for you as well. Aunt Sandra

  3. Thanks, guys... all is well, indeed. No, I haven't seen any raid. Oh, and I got granny's card in the mail and no I can't see any of the posts...make sure you're choosing where you're commenting from in the drop down screen below the comment box labeled "Comment as"...
